A Hill Country Couples Session with Their Sweet Dog!

There’s something extra special about couples who bring their dog along for photos — it instantly makes the session feel even more personal (and let’s be honest, way more fun). This sweet session took place just outside of Fredericksburg in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, and it was one of those evenings where everything just clicked — golden light, wide open skies, and a whole lot of love.

We wandered around a quiet park filled with oak trees, tall grass, and winding trails that gave us the perfect mix of cozy and wild. Their dog stole the show more than once (I mean… the head tilts?!) and added so much personality to their gallery. I always encourage couples to bring their pets to sessions — they’re such an important part of your life together, and these moments feel even more real when they’re part of the story.

The Texas Hill Country is one of my favorite places to shoot — it has this peaceful, tucked-away beauty that feels so natural and genuine, which is exactly how I want your session to feel too.
